Last week, the National Agency for Tax Administration announced that it would transmit electronically directly to the institutions that request them, tax certificates and income certificates. Thus, taxpayers will no longer have to go to ANAF’s premises to obtain these certificates and certificates. In doing so, ANAF aims to eliminate bureaucratic formalities as part of the draft order of the Ministry of Public Finance.
According to the ANAF communiqué, this is a measure that makes taxpayer life easier, given that ANAF issues annually more than 5.5 million income certificates for individuals and nearly 600 thousand tax certificates for individuals and legal entities.
Income statement is the document that attests to the income earned by a person in a fiscal year and is one of the most requested documents, as can be seen from the data mentioned above. This document is most often required to obtain a credit.
Certificates of tax attestation are necessary for the procedure of alienation of ownership of buildings, land and means of transport. Thus, the certificate of tax attestation establishing the payment of all tax obligations due to the local public administration authority within the range of which the alienated property is registered must be presented.
